Someone\u2019s invited you to play golf and it\u2019s your first time? Or maybe you\u2019ve just decided to try a new sport this summer? Golf is a wonderful way to enjoy the summer and Quebec\u2019s natural beauty. Plus, it\u2019s the ideal antidote to the stress of everyday life.<\/p>\n

Golfers must check-in at the golf shop at least 15 minutes before their tee time. Latecomers run the risk of losing their allotted tee time and only being able to play if there is availability later in the day.<\/p>\n"},{"accordeon_titre":"Attire","accordeon_content":"

At Owl\u2019s Head, there is no strict dress code. However, we recommend clean, decent and tasteful attire. Sandals, “jeans”, and tank tops are prohibited.<\/p>\n"},{"accordeon_titre":"Weather conditions","accordeon_content":"

Weather conditions can vary greatly, please monitor them just before your visit to plan for adequate clothing.<\/p>\n"},{"accordeon_titre":"Playing time","accordeon_content":"

The requested playing time is four and a half hours. Always be ready to play your shot.<\/p>\n

During a friendly round:<\/p>\n

1- Adopt the rule of \u201cplay as soon as ready\u201d taking into account the safety of other players.<\/p>\n

2- On the greens, line up your shot while another player is playing.<\/p>\n

3- Enter your score on the next tee.<\/p>\n

4- For a pleasant speed of play, make sure to follow the group in front of you at all times.<\/p>\n

5- Lost ball: take a reasonable search time so as not to be left behind by the group in front of you.<\/p>\n"},{"accordeon_titre":"On-course repair","accordeon_content":"

We ask you to:<\/p>\n

1- Replace the divots<\/p>\n

2- Repair ball marks on the greens<\/p>\n

The use of cell phones is tolerated on the course. Make sure to turn off the ringtone.<\/p>\n"},{"accordeon_titre":"Motorized carts","accordeon_content":"

Please follow these rules if using a cart:<\/p>\n

1- Follow the instructions for using the golf cart given at reception and on departure<\/p>\n

a) 90-degree rule on the fairways: roll on the paths until the height of your ball, turn 90 degrees on the fairway to reach your ball, play and return to the path.<\/p>\n

b) \u201cPath only\u201d rule: ride only on paths at all times.<\/p>\n

2- Avoid, as much as possible, riding on soft or wet ground.<\/p>\n

3- No golf cart is allowed within 10 meters of the perimeter of the green (respect the wooden \u201cCart\u201d signs around the greens)<\/p>\n

4- No carts are allowed within 3 meters of the tee boxes.<\/p>\n

5- Cart drivers are responsible for all damage to the cart or property.<\/p>\n

Spectators are welcome on the course but must follow the same rules and etiquette as any golfer.
