Team leader – Ski lifts / Lake sector

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Team Leader is responsible for managing the ski lift team during the winter season and the lake sector team during the summer. He/she ensures the smooth running and safety of employees in the performance of their duties.

Main tasks
MAIN DUTIES
- Organizes and coordinates the work team of operations personnel (lifts and lake sector);
- Approve and transmit time sheets for department personnel;
- Participate in the hiring process of team members;
- Lead and mobilize employees under his/her responsibility;
- Follow up on training as needed;
- Ensure that team members always work safely, in accordance with company and industry rules and policies;
- Ensure good communication with the various departments;
- Manage the operation of the lifts and the lake sector in accordance with established policies and procedures;
- Ensure maintenance of the lake sector, landscaping, beach and small boats;
- Ensure proper operation of the fueling system located at the waterfront;
- Carry out any other tasks that may be assigned to him/her by his/her immediate superior and necessary for the safety of the operations under his/her responsibility.
Requirements, skills
and qualifications
- Knowledge of our industry (asset)
- High school diploma or equivalent (asset)
- Experience in managing a team (minimum 1 year)
- Demonstrate good leadership and a positive and engaging attitude
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingualism (asset)
