Lift Mechanic (certified)

Reporting to the Lift Operations Supervisor, you will be required to operate and maintain the chairlifts according to established procedures, and more specifically:

  • Monitor and perform daily lift maintenance
  • Evaluate the repairs or maintenance to be carried out and put in place the necessary corrective measures
  • Complete some daily reports
  • Check and prepare lifts to ensure an efficient and safe operation
  • Follow established procedures to maintain operations taking into account the different factors
  • Communicates the various problems to his / her superior while demonstrating initiative to resolve routine cases and emergencies
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned to you by your immediate superior and necessary for the proper functioning of the company

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma is an asset
  • For Quebec resident : hold Emploi Québec lifts certificate of qualification. For foreign resident : hold a mechanic trade certification
  • Relevant experience including the maintenance of detachable chairs and grips is an asset
  • Knowledge of welder basics is an asset
  • Good knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and mechanics
  • Able to work in difficult environmental conditions; able to work at heights
  • Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability
  • Have strong work ethics
  • Be independent, resourceful and demonstrate good judgment
  • Be responsible, punctual and dedicated
  • Strong team player

Variable schedule: Day and weekend – Full-time – Permanent

Attendant - Rental Center

Reporting to the Director of customer services, you will be asked to provide customer services for rental and equipment adjustment according to established procedures and specifications, and more specifically:

  • Customer reception at the Rental center
  • Evaluate needs and equipment required
  • Preparation and adjustment of the equipment rented to the customer according to his personal card
  • Proceed to payment via the cash register
  • Check for equipment on return of rental
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to it by its immediate supervisor and necessary for the proper functioning of the company.

 

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma is an asset
  • Customer service skills
  • Have strong work ethics
  • Be independent, resourceful and demonstrate good judgment
  • Technical knowledge – ski/snow equipment
  • Able to work under pressure and offer optimum service
  • Be responsible and punctual
  • Ability in teamwork

Maintenance Attendant (Inside & Outside and Hotel)

The MTN HAUS, located at the bottom of the ski slopes, is looking for maintenance workers.

 

– 2 maintenance staff (ski chalet and MTN HAUS Hotel): full-time positions

– 2 maintenance staff MTN HAUSS Hotel: full-time and part-time position

 

MAIN TASKS

The maintenance attendant is responsible of housekeeping and sanitation inside and outside the buildings and for the hotel.

  • Clean washrooms, eating areas and reception areas in all buildings
  • Ensure the supply of sanitary devices (hand paper, soap, etc…)
  • Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the site
  • Shovel around buildings and spread abrasive if necessary
  • Sweep and wash floors
  • Wash glass doors and windows
  • Ensure that when closing that there are no customers in the public rooms and lock all doors
  • Hotel side: Ability to make beds (Hotel standard) with care
  • Perform any other task that may be assigned to him by his immediate supervisor and necessary for the proper functioning of the company
  • Ensure good coordination with customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (DES, DEP) is an asset
  • Work experience in a similar position is an asset
  • Be concerned about cleanliness
  • Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness and judgment
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the work period, ability to lift loads up to 20 kg on a regular basis
  • Know and respect safety and health standards and be familiar with the proper use of cleaning products
  • Be responsible, punctual, diligent and hardworking

Team leader - ski lifts

MAIN TASKS

Reporting to the Lift Operations Supervisor, the TEAM LEADER manages his or her work team.

  • Organize and coordinate the work team of the ski lift personnel (attendants and operators)
  • Approve and transmit time sheets for his department’s staff
  • Participate in the hiring process of his team’s personnel
  • Lead and mobilize your team
  • Ensure the follow-up of training courses
  • Ensure that the team’s personnel always work in complete safety, in accordance with the company’s and industry’s rules and policies
  • Ensure good communication with the various departments
  • Assist the Lift Operations Supervisor in managing the operation of the lifts in accordance with established policies and procedures

 

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma DES – DEP (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in team management
  • Demonstrate good leadership
  • Demonstrate a positive and mobilizing attitude
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Bilingual
  • Computer skills (Office Suite)
