Mechanic apprentice - lifts

MAIN TASKS 

Reporting to the supervisor-operation of the ski lifts, you will be required to operate and maintain the lifts according to established procedures.

Notes: Training will be given on site by the ski lift supervisor.

You will be called, with the help and supervision of the supervisor in place

  • Monitor and perform daily lift maintenance;
  • Evaluate the repairs or maintenance to be carried out and put in place the necessary corrective measures;
  • Complete some daily reports;
  • Check and prepare lifts to ensure an efficient and safe operation;
  • Follow established procedures to maintain operations taking into account the different factors;
  • Communicates the various problems to his / her superior while demonstrating initiative to resolve routine cases and emergencies;
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned to you by your immediate superior and necessary for the proper functioning of the company.

 

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience/ mechanics base of all kinds (asset);
  • To be punctual;
  • Be able to execute the instructions and work as requested;
  • To be versatile;
  • Be manual, visual, and auditory and have a good dexterity;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Loved working with public (customer service);
  • Good physical condition;
  • Be comfortable working at height (towers and pylons);
  • Good tolerance to cold and hot.

Maintenance Attendants (Inside & Outside and Hotel)

The MTN HAUS, located at the bottom of the ski slopes, is looking for maintenance workers.

 

– 2 maintenance staff (ski chalet and MTN HAUS Hotel): full-time positions

– 2 maintenance staff MTN HAUSS Hotel: full-time and part-time position

 

MAIN TASKS

The maintenance attendant is responsible of housekeeping and sanitation inside and outside the buildings and for the hotel.

  • Clean washrooms, eating areas and reception areas in all buildings
  • Ensure the supply of sanitary devices (hand paper, soap, etc…)
  • Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the site
  • Shovel around buildings and spread abrasive if necessary
  • Sweep and wash floors
  • Wash glass doors and windows
  • Ensure that when closing that there are no customers in the public rooms and lock all doors
  • Hotel side: Ability to make beds (Hotel standard) with care
  • Perform any other task that may be assigned to him by his immediate supervisor and necessary for the proper functioning of the company
  • Ensure good coordination with customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (DES, DEP) is an asset
  • Work experience in a similar position is an asset
  • Be concerned about cleanliness
  • Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness and judgment
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the work period, ability to lift loads up to 20 kg on a regular basis
  • Know and respect safety and health standards and be familiar with the proper use of cleaning products
  • Be responsible, punctual, diligent and hardworking

  • Variable schedule: Week days, nights, Weekend
