Human Resources Coordinator

In our organization, Human Resources are at the heart of the employee experience. To support the growth of our teams, we are looking for an HR Coordinator who enjoys recruiting talent just as much as contributing to a positive and well-structured employee experience.

 

Your Role Within the HR Team :

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administrative support. You will be part of a team composed of two HR Coordinators working closely together, each responsible for specific sectors of the organization while being able to support and back one another when needed. This role combines recruitment, HR administration, and participation in various engaging projects and initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Onboarding (approximately 50%)
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for support positions (job postings, resume screening, interviews, reference checks, offers, and contracts).

  • Develop proactive recruitment strategies and collaborate with the marketing team to promote employment opportunities.

  • Ensure a welcoming and structured onboarding process to create a positive experience from day one.

 

– HR Administration (approximately 40%)
  • Oversee various HR administrative activities, including:

    • Employee file management

    • Absenteeism tracking

    • Workplace injury file follow-up (with support from our Prevention Mutual)

    • Schedule and hourly rate changes

    • Vacation and leave management

    • Benefits tracking (health spending account, equipment reimbursements, etc.)

    • Performance and contribution recognition

    • And more

  • Participate in payroll management and oversee the time and attendance management system.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation.

 

– HR Projects & Organizational Life (approximately 10%)
  • Help identify training needs and coordinate certain development activities.

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of health and safety initiatives.

  • Collaborate on the development of HR policies, tools, and practices.

  • Participate in internal communications (e.g., internal newsletter) and help organize employee activities and events (e.g., recognition gala and end-of-season parties).

  • Support initiatives aimed at improving onboarding, retention, and employee engagement.

Requirements, skills
and qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related fi
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Autonomy, creativity, and proactivity
  • Autonomy and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of confidentiality
  • Member of the CRHA Order (asset)
  • Knowledge of the Office suite
  • Knowledge of Employeur D (asset)
  • Knowledge of Folks RH or Agendrix (asset)
  • Bilingual (spoken and written)
