Ski lift mechanic

As a ski lift mechanic, you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting the facilities. Thanks to your technical expertise, attention to detail, and thoroughness, you ensure that the lifts operate optimally and that everyone is safe. You play a direct role in making every visit to the mountains a memorable experience.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Reporting to the team leader – ski lift maintenance, the mechanic is responsible for:
- Maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting ski lifts;
- Participating in work planning and evaluation;
- Support and supervise the work performed by apprentice mechanics;
- Complete daily reports;
- Report any anomalies to their immediate supervisor;
- Drive an ATV in difficult weather conditions;
- Perform any other tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor that are necessary for the smooth operation of the company.

Requirements, skills
and qualifications
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Autonomy and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma (asset)
- Recognized certificate or relevant experience
- Knowledge of electromechanics and hydraulics
- Keen sense of health and safety
- Demonstrate leadership and judgment
