3 to 5 years old ski programs

To ensure a successful introduction for your child, the New Owls beginner lessons primarily take place on the Magic Carpet area. Guided by a team of instructors and assistant instructors, young skiers will have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills through different on-snow activities.

To ensure each child’s safety, a 1:1 ratio will be maintained during runs until the student is able to link turns and come to a controlled stop on the Magic Carpet slope.

The Little Owls program is designed for children who are able to stop at any time on the Magic Carpet slope. A ratio of 2 to 3 students per instructor allows for steady progression toward green runs in a fun and safe environment.

NEW OWLS AM

Ski introduction in small groups of 2 children.
The program begins the weekend of January 9–10, 2027, and runs for 8 consecutive weeks. The goal is to provide a fun and safe first introduction to the world of skiing. To support your child’s learning, the New Owls beginner lessons take place primarily on the Magic Carpet area.

Lesson duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Multiple start times are available.

LITTLE OWLS AM

Ski lessons for children with prior experience, in small groups of 2 to 3 participants.
The program begins the weekend of January 9–10, 2027, in the morning, and runs for 8 consecutive weeks. The goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment.

Lesson duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Multiple start times are available.

*To register for this program, children must be able to stop on command at all times on the beginner slope. The Ski School reserves the right to reassign a child to the New Owls (Beginner) level if they do not meet the program requirements. Any difference in cost will apply.

LITTLE OWLS PM

Ski lessons for children with prior experience, in small groups of 2 to 3 participants.
The program begins the weekend of January 9–10, 2027, in the afternoon, and runs for 8 consecutive weeks. The goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment.
